Nile Ethiopian - Coralville

My daughter and I went to this restaurant on the opening day, and decided it is one of our new Iowa City/Coralville favorites! General portions and good prices for Ethiopian foods. Many of Injera (do not need to ask for extra), and it was light and fluffy as it should be. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, ready to make some changes for us. The Injera is not 100% gluten-free yet, but they work on it. The lamb Tibbs, chicken kirwot and lenses were good. We're coming back!

My wife and I have eaten here 4 times in the few weeks that Nile has been open in Coralville it is already our favorite restaurant in town! It is wonderful to finally have an Ethiopian restaurant here, and one with excellent vegan options. :

Thrilled to finally have an Ethiopian restaurant in our area. Everything we tried was excellent! Very flavorful, not just disguised with too much heat like we've sometimes had. Very nice injera, too :

A simply delicious communal eating experience. We tried at least half the menu at lunch today, and I can't wait to return so I can try the other half!

My husband and my Mom and I went to Nile Ethiopian tonight and really loved the food! We had good service and even a chance to talk with Kiya Sultan, the amazing owner, chef and an Iowa City West High grad: : We will definitely be going back. Thanks for a great dining experience.
