I always find the staff to be generally happy, always reading your order back to you to make sure they have it correct. The coffee always tastes great. At busier times (such as weekends) you can understand delays, the staff ALWAYS do their best to accommodate each customer and any special requirements they may have, even when they do have staff shortages.
Service is ok and non vegan food is good, however they rarely have any vegan food and it's getting less than less and on my last (as of writing) visit the only option was cakes, no actual food options at all. Coffee is good however. The place was not clean with multiple tables covered in empty cups and rubbish. It's currently 11am and quiet in the place so not as if it's busy (though they might be short staffed, I don't know). Overall, not great.
Me and my husband went in to get a coffee and when we got in there, their was 2 customers in front of us in the que and thought it won't take too long. 15 minutes later we still weren't served. We saw the 2 staff that were on were doing a click and collect aswell as the other 2 people in the ques order. I got to the front of the que and still was waiting for them to take my order. In the end I walked off and the woman said I will serve you now but after over 15 minutes I lost my patience. I don't think you should have to wait that long with the amount of people in front of you 2 customers and 2 staff working!! Also there was no apology for waiting and seemed like we were ignored.
The manager was SO rude, no respect for customers and when I asked about the points system on the app she was very snappy!! Won’t be going here again…
