Covean Cottage

I ordered the Heidi pizza (goat's cheese, beetroot nasturtium leaves). So tasty! I'm Italian this was the best pizza I've had outside of Italy! Absolutely amazing!!!

Beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast, wonderful location. Rosie was brilliant in all her communications and advise and really did a excellent job in making my stay perfect.

The only problem with the Covean, is it's just open 2 days a week!! Lovely tasty warm scones, homemade jam, clotted cream tea served in pots (there are loads of tea-pots in there!!

We have just visited Covean Cafe on St Agnes and it was fantastic! The cakes were freshly baked and the scones just out the oven, warm and delicious. The tea was Twinings served in tea cups (not massive coffee cups) and the surroundings very clean and nice. Furthermore, the prices were fair and reasonable. Having visited many tea rooms on the Islands, we can honestly say that this is our favourite. Well worth a visit but be warned it’s only open on Tuesday and Thursday so plan your trip around it!!

Rosie serves up delicious homemade scones that are warm and generously sized. The option for both cream tea and savory scones is a nice touch. They are truly delectable - I only wish I could recreate them at home. I also enjoyed a refreshing glass of homemade lemonade, a far cry from the overly sweet canned versions. The garden is a peaceful oasis with beautiful flowers and chirping birds, and the conservatory is a cozy spot for cooler or rainy days.
