Bidra med feedbackGreat service, food and value! Happened to visit on taco Tuesday so I had the £12 for 3 tacos and a margarita. I added corn for an extra £1 so glad I did as it was delicious. My mum had the fish and chips, HUGE portion great for the price. We will definitely be back again to explore more of the menu! Highly recommend. Doesn’t look much from the outside but the interior in the restaurant is super clean and beautiful. The staff are also lovely :
Stayed here for one night with family and our dogs. Excellent service, really looked after us and our fur babies. Great food, evening meal and breakfast, lovely outside seating area. Staff were amazing. Thank you we had a lovely time and look forward to coming back.
Booked in the Portreath arms on Saturday for 4 adults and two children, The staff were very friendly and the Lady who took our order was great with the kids, my Grandson is Autistic and he felted very comfortable and his Childrens menu was great, it has two sizes, so one had the larger meal, the other had the small, they eat it all, saying best meal of the holiday, one had Chicken nuggets, the other burger. Well what can I say about the main meals, as people say nowadays OMG they were anazing, I didnt have much choice but the others had so much choice, so I got fish chips, not what I would normally go for, but they were beautiful, my Daughter got the Steak which was perfection and ware do I start with my husbands Seafood Cerole boil, was everyone's food envy. We went for Deserts even though we didn't have room, we had the first four items from the menu, and none of them disappointed, all absolutely fab, will be back as soon as possible.
After reading reviews online we thought would try here for lunch. There we 6 of us. First impressions were this looks nice, but then we were greeted by our waitress who seemed to be in a world of her own. Was slow, not very attentive and seemed quiet nervous. We ordered our food, my chef husband who has worked in many fine dining establishments from St mortiz to fowey Hall, ordered a steak, was asked how he would like it cooked he said as its a sirloin I'd like it rare. You would think that's a normal request would u not. Our food came out, and his steak was overcooked, came out medium well. He got hold of the waitress and sent it back asked for another. She then came back and said that's how they serve it, that is pink. We got told that it comes out pink or well done, due to the cut of the steak. Never in his 22 years in the industry has he ever heard that. Especially when they think medium well is pink. So he decided to go for a burger, which took 20 mins to come out. They weren't busy. By the time it had arrived, we had all finished, kids got extremely restless. The burger was a double which it didn't state on the menu. He ate it as was starving. When it came to paying the bill, he said he will happily pay for everyone else's and drinks but wanted his meal taken off as its not what he wanted and we came out for a family meal. Not for one person to be left to watch everyone else it. The lady I presume is the manager came out and was rude and unhelpful. Told him you ate it so your paying for it, it's that simple. No apology for the steak again got told its the way they serve that cut of meat. That there was nothing wrong with the steak it was pink. Told him to calm down, I said that we will be leaving a review. She said that as a chef he should know better than to leave a bad review. Its a shame as everyone else really enjoyed their food.
Staying at hotel for the night so wanted something to eat. Nice restaurant atmosphere it was a little quieter when we ate at 8pm. Friendly attentive staff and good choices on menu. We were after a bit lighter food so both opted for the Lebanese chicken was delicious and well cooked. Great place to eat and family are now going to give it a try also.
