It has a strong connection to Veterans and their charities, making it a great place for those from a military background to find support for all aspects of life. They serve a variety of traditional ales as well as modern options like Madri and Guinness. Additionally, they offer a traditional Sunday lunch on Sundays.
This charming pub has a very welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and excellent service. The drinks are top-notch and I always feel at home when I visit while working in the area. Definitely worth a visit!
I had a fantastic weekend and made the right choice by choosing this pub! From the moment I walked in on Friday to my visits on Saturday and Sunday, I was warmly welcomed by friendly customers and attentive and professional bar staff like Emma, Harriette, and Tom. The live bands added to the amazing atmosphere, and Gavin did a great job as a DJ. Many thanks to Brian and Val for all their hard work in making this pub great again.
A welcome always awaits. Sponsors of local Armed Forces Veterans Branch. Good social activities. Friendly host and also has music nights. Well supported pub. Nice pint of Guinness.
