Corolla Village Barbecue

Plan to get there right as they open. Hit the lighthouse first at 10:30 and wander over. The pulled pork, chicken and ribs were cooked well. The bread is good, the cornbread is ????. Make sure the pulled pork has the NC vinegar sauce on it for that real NCBBQ experience. Tip, for those not so keen on the vinegar sauce, mixing it with their special sauce is top tier. If you're near,you better make a stop. Service was friendly as well ????.

Awesome pork bbq. Went here after climbing the lighthouse. Loved that it wasn?t fatty meat. They had a good selection of bbq sauce. Outdoor seating under a tree. Couldn?t find a bathroom nearby so we went back to the lighthouse where they have cleanbathrooms that the kids used. If you go early there wasn?t much of a wait but this place seems to get busy fast especiallyaround noon.

I couldn't find a bathroom near, so we went back to the lighthouse where they used clean baths that the children used. when they go early, there was not much of a wait, but this place seems to get fast, especially at midday.

I ordered the pork ribs and they were amazing! The sauce that came with it was excellent as well. The macaroni and cheese was outstanding. The potato salad was really good (and there was no sand in it either). And the corn bread was the best I've ever tasted! I basically devoured it. It was especially wonderful after a day at the beach! They don't make BBQ like this in Jersey!

I realized last minute that I had called a BBQ restaurant for takeout that was over an hour away. I called this place instead and they were able to prepare my order in just 10 minutes! The food was amazing - I ordered the BBQ whole chicken, full rack of ribs, Mac n cheese, pulled pork, and cornbread. Everything was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. I will definitely order from here again when I return to Corolla.
