Tartine - Coronado

What a place! The food is tasty, and well prepared. But the desserts..are to die for! Unassuming, but it melts in your ?, the flavor.....mmmhu!

During our visit to Coronado in July 2024, we purchased beverages, pastries and dined in for breakfast. The people who work there provided excellent service. The food was fresh and delicious. Other guests were friendly as well as we enjoyed our breakfast on the covered patio. Definitely recommend. One gentleman went out of his way to walk a customer and what the customer had purchased safely across the street to his car. He took the utmost care of the patron.

Right behind all the restaurants along the Coronado Bay is this hidden gem. This was my favorite restaurant in San Diego throughout my trip here. I had the gnocchi with sausage, complimentary bread and the chocolate mousse cake. All of these meals were fantastic and I’d go back here again if I’m ever in town. Compliments to the chefs!

Who is the big handsome waiter? He’s perhaps the nicest waiter I’ve ever met. Forgot his name but an awesome dude. Looks like a SEAL, but humble as a Sailor. Lol.
