Texas Mesquite Bbq Grill

Excellent Texas BBQ at an affordable price! I enjoyed the brisket and sausage, paired with beans and potato salad. The brisket had a fantastic smoky flavor and a lovely smoke ring; it was tender and moist, just as it should be. The sausage was also fantastic. The beans were top-notch, but I wasn’t a fan of the cold potato salad. The burgers looked mouth-watering, so I definitely plan to try one on my next visit!

Best ribs we've ever had! Considering that my husband's flesh is fav, we've had it everywhere in the south, which says a lot! Not too much smoke, very balanced aromas make the meat shine. Beans were amazing, Coleslaw was very good. Only disappointment was the potato salad. I hope to go back.

One small suggestion: it would be great if the meat was served with a bit more attention to enhance its full flavor. If I stay in Texas much longer, I might end up gaining weight! This truly is the best barbecue in the world. The locally sourced mesquite gives it a distinct flavor that just can't be replicated anywhere else. BBQ here is an art and a way of life that I really miss back in California. I regret not having learned how to make it myself, but I will definitely be returning!

During my spring break on North Padre Island, my friends and I decided to grab lunch at Texas Mesquite BBQ before hitting the beach for some sand and surfing. Two of my friends had been there before, but it was my first visit. I was really impressed by the quick and friendly service, even though the restaurant quickly filled up with other hungry spring breakers. The atmosphere was casual and inviting. I believe I've just experienced baked potato nirvana; the meat-loaded Texas Tater is quite possibly the best I've ever had. They also serve fantastic soft tacos and BBQ nachos. It was the perfect lunch to fuel our day at the beach!

Good sides. The bbq beans, gr beans and homemade fries were excellent. We enjoyed the sausage, brisket and pork. The turkey was dry.
