Bistrot Il Cirmolo - CORTINA D'AMPEZZO

We had an evening meal at this bistro and just walked in whilst passing. The service was friendly and the staff spoke reasonably good English (which is good since we speak no Italian). The menu had a decent selection and the food we had was very nice. It is a very reasonably priced bistro.

This bistrot with a typical regional twist (Ampezzo Valley and Tyrolean specialties) is good for a stop at lunch time while you watch in Summer the lazy strolling of VIPs on the Corso in Cortina. We had a very complete lunch aperitif and watched other foreign tourists getting served in a friendly and casual manner by the professional English speaking staff. Good assortment of traditional and contemporary mountain cuisine is available.
