El Sol De Mexico - Corvallis

I was not particularly impressed with this restaurant, but I was also not completely disappointed. They only give you one bowl of chips and salsa, and if you want more, there is an extra charge. The food was just okay, nothing amazing, but not the worst I've ever had either. The service was decent, no complaints there. The prices were a bit all over the place - some items seemed reasonably priced while others were quite high. Overall, my experience was average, so I'm not sure if I would recommend or not recommend this place.

This restaurant reminded me of the Mexican restaurants my family and I ate in growing up. Loved the decor. Great service, good food and reasonably priced. When in Corvallis, we'll definitely go here again.

Rice is confirmed vegan, using a veggie based broth. I ordered the veggie burrito without cheese (no sour cream since it costs extra but same with guacamole). I had black beans on the side. It was very good and the veggies were absolutely delicious!

Long wait time. Ordered whatever this Salad was but as soon as it got to my table, I knew I made a mistake by lunching in here. Basically, no authentic Mexican flavor, mushrooms and tomatoes straight out of the box with nothing done/added. Salsa and chips was good tho.
