Bidra med feedbackPoints for the painting of a beaver eating a Duck, this place nails college town ambiance. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a place to eat thats not Rivas.
Came back here and ordered the Meatball. $7.75 for a small. Great deal plus the small is big enough to fill a 225 pound man. I liked this much more than the Hot Pastrami I ordered previously. Homemade meatballs, perfectly toasted bread, tasty sauce.
This is a nice local place for subs in Corvallis. They have some good combo deals and offer a handful of classics on the menu. You can also customize your own, which is what I did. (I just wish they had more veggie options. I was there on a Sunday with a group of 7 and our food came out pretty quick, with no one waiting more than 8-10 minutes! Service was very friendly and prices great. One of my friends who got the soup/sandwich combo said it seemed like the soup was just zapped in the microwave for a minute and could've been warmer.
I have been eating here since 1999. Today was the last time I will give them any of my money. I ordered a ham and turkey sandwich with extra meat. There was not even what I would say a regular amount of meat should be on this sandwich. I understand that prices are going up. (fine charge more but don 't skimp on the quality) If I order a sandwich with extra meat on it I expect it to have lots of meat !!! I called them and they told me that a small sandwich gets 4 oz of meat and if you order extra you get 1.5 more oz. This is not the way that they used to make their sandwiches. I would love to support a small business but I will be getting my sandwiches elsewhere from now on.
This place would need to improve to legitimately earn a 1/2 star as a sandwich shop; it USED TO BE SO GREAT. Bread: had two sandwiches; flavor and texture of Franz white bread certainly NOT as shown in Darin V's. 5/14/2016 or Hasol Y's. 10/30/2019 reviews. Bread ratio was aggravatingly high, made worse by being of such low quality. Of the ingredients: avocado, cream cheese, artichoke were microscopic, tomatoes were razor sliced, bacon and ham were very light; lettuce was plentiful though. The sides: Potato Salad; the worst Sysco food service ever. The Artichoke Broccoli should be renamed Broccoli WTHA (Where the Hell is the Artichoke). The staff: Great; the owner/management is not worthy of them. This place is an IQ test I will not be taking again; just much does junk food cost anyway???
