Avoid this place. It bears no resemblance to the reviews I read beforehand. It’s definitely overdue for an upgrade. Rooms: 3, Service: 1, Location: 4.

The hotel may be old, but it’s very clean and offers great facilities in the rooms, along with friendly staff. There are enjoyable nearby activities, including a nice heritage railway to Llangollen. I would rate the rooms a 4 and the service a 4 as well. The location scores a 3. Some highlights of the hotel include its quiet atmosphere and excellent value.
