Beach Pit Bbq - Costa Mes

Atmosphere was so nice and relaxing. The food was so damn delicious and achieved the appetite of 5 different people who were all craving barbecue All the meat was just falling off the bone and took maybe an extra stab of the fork to get all the delicious meat! Staff was so kind and friendly in helping make sure we felt taking care of and were happy with everything Truly a fantastic experience at an unexpected hole in the wall, really don't miss that turn into their parking lot!!!

Best customer service ! Best experience i've had in a VERY long time. My mom who doesn't even like ribs was amazed at how tasty and tender they were. 11/10

Above average barbecue restaurant in Costa Mesa. My experience was mixed. They cube rather than slice their brisket which makes it difficult to eat as a sandwich, particularly on a soft Hawaiian roll. The coleslaw I had was vinegar based not mayonnaise based, so it was quite bitter and not my cup of tea. The baked beans were decent enough, but no match for Lucille's. The barbecue sauce they use is pretty good as was the flavor of the brisket itself. The restaurant apparently does not serve garlic mashed potatoes, which I love. Would need to try more items to up my overall rating. Besides, there are far better BBQ choices in the area such as Lucille's.

We ordered the barbeque sampler which included sausage, pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket and ribs. It came with one square of corn bread, one serving of cole slaw, and one serving of baked beans. The food was pretty good, although the meat was served on a wooden platter and got cold quickly.

Great quality food, relax atmosphere, heaters on the patio made outside dining in November very pleasant. Nailed it with the BBQ Brisket Salad with Avocado!! Well done
