Bidra med feedbackThis place changed ownership and the dynamics have changed. Regular bartender is gone, as well as regulars I used to see. Subtle changes in quality of food as well. I hope the change is for the good. I'll come back in 6 months. Going back to Capital Grill.
Horrible service, food is not good, the chicken was chewy and food was cold. The kafta kabab was burned out and so dry. Very bad experience. The waitress had very bad attitude. When I asked bring the check with very bad attitude she threw the check book. If I could give 0 start I would. Not recommend it.
Delicious! The spicy potatoes are a must when ordering an appetizer. Even my sister who doesn't like spicy orders them because they are so good! Pasta is fabulous and the service is wonderful.
The meat was juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. It was cooked to perfection, not dry at all, and absolutely delicious. For dessert, I had a slice of tiramisu that was heavenly. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying Mediterranean cuisine. The lamb kabobs and tiramisu were particularly outstanding, and the latte was the perfect way to cap off the meal.
Costa Mesa , Ca. Well, what a surprise to find a five star joint in a shopping center. First off is the over the top friendly and courteous staff. They really make one feel welcome and there is no attitudes. We were seated quickly and had waters immediately. We had the Caprese to start and it was amazing, the tomato's tasted like they were just picked. The Lamb Kafta was excellent and perfectly cooked. The lamb was tender, moist, and flavorful. Somehow I've been through 76 years on this planet without ever trying Tangine so I went for the chicken version. They also have lamb and vegetable. Glad I tried this, it was so delicious I somehow managed the eat the entire generous portion. I don't frequent South Coast Plaza much but I think I will return just to sample more of the great food they offer up here. For dessert I went with Tiramisu and their creation of this standard was in the top five of all I can remember. We also tried a gelato dish with a bed of syrup that was great. There was a new dish, a lemon cake that was a favorite of the waiter. We didn't order this but he really wanted us to try it so he brought us out one, compliments of him. It was very lemony, not too sweet and very moist, not real cakey at all. I loved it. I thought the pricing was totally in line, considering the high end look of the place and abundant service staff, along with the quality of the food, it could have been much more expensive.
