Thornton's - County Durham

The coffee was delicious and the chocolate was a nice touch. Despite being busy, our coffee took a little while to arrive, but it was a Sunday after all. The tables are a bit close together, making it feel crowded when the restaurant is full. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. They also offer a good selection of tempting cakes.

The restaurant is easy to access, but navigating with a wheelchair or walker inside can be difficult. The seating area is filled with tables, making it tight for maneuvering. Despite being busy, the service is good and the hot drinks are especially delicious - worth a visit for that alone.

Very nice coffee/tea/bakery. price is ok, especially kept for high standards. the most recent addition of tables was achieved without ruining the ambiente. helpful staff. below, a very well maintained washroom!

Loved the coffee and the bargain but not as much space in the load as it was earlier, so we felt a bit cramped. the new shop and egg area has taken quite a lot of space; where there was still space between the tables, there is not. I don't want to stay long.

The service provided by all three staff members was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and the food and drinks were delicious. This is now our favorite place to go to at Dalton Park.
