Famous Dave's -b-que

The bartender was great, the food was goo. The rib tips could have been a little less tuff.

Came in at 7:30pm an hour and a half before closing (9) we got our food 10 min after ordering. Food was COLD very cold the only thing that was warm was the muffin. Food is very much hyped up.

My daughter and I ordered the full slab of ribs with the fries and cornbread muffin and we shared it's a lot of food! The food was hot food was delicious and plenty of it!

Son! I been doing service call all over America for 45 years. This was the best BBQ I ever ate. The meat was tender and not greasy. The sauces compliment the smokey meat. So glad someone recommended this place. Waitress was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Kept the drink glass full. Can't wait until I can come again.

Got take out last night, full rack of ribs, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. It was around 8 pm. I have ate at famous Dave’s before in 2 separate locations and both times the ribs were amazing and fall off the bone delicious. These ribs in Rockford IL we’re absolutely atrocious. Very chewy and fatty. Not sure what’s up with this but I’ll never eat at this one again.
