Panda Wok - Covina

This restaurant is a quaint family-owned establishment that serves American-style Chinese cuisine reminiscent of Panda Express. Their meals typically consist of fried rice, noodles, or a combination of both, along with your choice of one to three sides depending on the combo you choose. I went with a two-item combo featuring Orange Chicken and BBQ Pork. The noodles were fine but didn't stand out. The Orange Chicken was well-cooked, but the sauce was rather bland. Unfortunately, the BBQ Pork was a significant disappointment; the meat was dry and tough, lacking the smoky char you typically expect from BBQ pork. Like the chicken, the marinade for the pork lacked flavor, making me wonder if they had simply used red food coloring.

I was really let down by the food, which tasted old and stale. The staff was uninviting; one woman kept looking at me as if I didn't belong there. Customer service was sorely lacking—there was nothing friendly or warm about it; it felt downright rude. To make matters worse, the prices were far too high for the quality offered. I cannot recommend this restaurant at all; it simply isn't worth your time, money, or effort. Food rating: 2/5.

Outstanding Service! I truly enjoy dining at this restaurant; the food is consistently delectable, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. The woman who helped me today was exceptionally kind and ensured that I had everything I required. The Wonton Soup here is simply incredible! Food: 5/5

We had another Chinese food restaurant that we had until they closed. Found this gem and am so happy we did. They are wonderful. Filling portions, super sweet servers. Make sides fresh for you. 10/10 would recommend.Food: 5/5
