Forks Corks - Covington

This restaurant was excellent. The service was exceptional and the food was amazing. We both ordered fish, along with some drinks, coffee, and a delicious cheesecake for dessert. Everything was outstanding. The atmosphere was perfect for a upscale and peaceful dinner.

We were greeted by Joey, who was excellent. Amanda, our server, was very kind and attentive. The chef, Matt, even came out to personally speak with us and inquire about our meal and overall experience. We could only give him praise as it was a fantastic dining experience all around.

I had a great time dining at this restaurant! It brought back memories of living in New Orleans. It's a rare find on the northshore with a trendy atmosphere, delicious food, and great cocktails. I will definitely be returning.

I was not a fan of Corks and Forks when it first opened....food was mediocre and so was service. So when I was told that’s where our Friday night group was going, I was hesitant. But boy was in for a surprise! The food was great! I had the special: crunchy oyster appetizer (delicious) and a surf and turf entree.... the steak was tender and praise god not overcooked.... the shrimp were perfectly done. And yes this time the service was wonderful...i.e,.. my wine of choice is a Chardonnay that is rich and flavorful so that’s what I ordered when I came in. However this Chardonnay was flat and tasteless ...but the beauty here is that all I had to do was get the waiters attention and tell him I didn’t like it and he immediately brought me back something I knew I couldn’t pass up which was a lovely Beefeater martini. That’s the kind of service that pleases a guest! I certainly hope Corks and Forks stays open with the ridiculous foolishness it’s going on with renovating bridges (bridges I never knew existed on bootlegger) it’s hard for people to get to the restaurant. I also hope that the people who have spent big bucks to build beautiful homes in Terra Bella won’t all leave because of the 2 million apartments that have just been built on the site as well.
