The Social Goat Tavern - Covington

Out of town visitor, trying to get dinner a beer after hard days work. First was told I have to get my own beer from the bar in the back in order to sit outside. I noticed another group was served food beer in at table next to me. Next trying to get waitress attention multiple times, finally got to order a salad. The salad came with rotten lettuce which I had to pick out. Later on back at hotel, I found out I got food poisoning. To top it off, I asked for another beer, and was later told the waitress thought I was going to get my own beer. Collectively, it was like they were trying to be really rude.

Amazing!!!!! We ate at mystic grill for 2 days in a row and decided to try the social goat! Nicole was amazing and honestly all the staff here made the visit so great! The food was so good! The salad was amazing and huge and the social goat burger with pimento cheese was so big! Everything was cooked perfectly and I would eat here again.

My husband I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated promptly the waitress greeted us immediately. We ordered and appetizer first so we could look at the menu. The hummus came out and was great. We ordered the BBQ burger grouper tacos. Both were fantastic. We'll stop by again when we're in Covington.

We went with my parents, who live near there, we were visiting from Atlanta. We were impressed by how good the food and the drinks were. We each got something very different and it was all delicious and cooked perfectly. The server was great. But the host should have maybe taken the day off, terrible attitude and service from her! As someone who manages ppl in the service/hospitality industry, my thought is if you can't deliver good service when you're having a bad day then maybe take the day off. Or find an industry you enjoy more.

As a long-time patron of Social Goat Tavern, I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts. Over the years, I’ve consistently enjoyed your fantastic food and commend your wonderful team for providing outstanding customer service. However, I was disheartened to see that the original pretzel and queso—my absolute favorite since day one—has been replaced by pretzel bites that just don't measure up. I truly miss the original's perfection. As a dedicated SGT Frequent Flyer Member, I kindly urge you to reconsider and bring back the REAL pretzel. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, SGT4Ever
