Resto D'L'estrie - Cowansville

My friend and I came to an unusually hot autumn day (oktober 9, 2018) and wanted to sit outside on the terrace, although it was locked, and the hostess/waitress was completely courteous and specifically opened it for us (and then of course others too. Outside! .she was wiping the chairs and table and took our order. that came in a quick way and was actually quite delicious! I had the kalb parmesan with Greek kartoffels and a garden salad.(the included mushroom soup was mediocre, as the included dessert my friend had the chicken/rib combo and ended their plate, which was a good sign that they enjoyed it! all in all it was a great first experience with a great friend who through the fact that we have to enjoy al fresco in the beautiful sun!

Pizza was not great and the personal seemed not really ready to us acommadate. would not go back.

We booked last minute for a group of 20 adults and children when we were in the city for a football tournament. they were able to accommodate us and had no problem of adapting children for bills to parents. there is something for everyone and the price is very valuable. eating was very good and hot. great little restaurant.

We decided to try this place. it's a new place in town. a former restaurant (terrace du sud) has been in this situation for years. it is closed and reopened as this place....so we gave it a shot. first impression is the decoration better. the menu is similar. pizza, pasta, deli, chinese, grill etc. the temperature at the site was too cold for comfort. I wanted to keep my jacket. our waitress manon was friendly enough, but did not try to speak English, even though she heard our conversation among us. we ordered half a liter of red wine that was super cold....a decent restaurant owner should know that red wine should not be cooled. we wanted to warm our glasses with our hands. a person in our party ordered the veggie cannon... it was delicious and the riders were really good. the other person ordered the smoked meat plate....Diappointing.... very little smoked meat and we are sure that it is the type that comes in a frozen bag. not freshly carved like the former restaurant in these areas. the music played on this place was loud and high-beat....not great if they want a relaxing evening meal. I really wanted to like this place, but I didn't. I'm not going back.

Visiting cowansville, we were two couples to go to dinner at this restaurant. Clean, well-appointed with a large terrace, the restaurant in the Estrie will allow us to have a good meal at an affordable price and in a pleasant atmosphere. the menu offers dishes for all tastes and prices. here we don't do in the end kitchen but in the one that pleases everyone. Me and others enjoyed our respective choices. our waitress, a pretty, energetic and nice young woman will have advised us well and she has been very careful to note my severe allergy to seafood and molluscs. The wine, beer and beverages map is well matched and does the work well, as we say today...I recommend this establishment when you go to the Québec area or even better if you are not too far from cowansville. There is also a delivery service at this restaurant.
