Bidra med feedbackWe are so glad we walked the extra 1 block to this place, the food, service and atmosphere were perfect. It is set back 1/2 block off the main Street by the cruise terminal, but oh my goodness is it worth the extra 4 minutes walk. Everything is made in house, the food was so good, the chips hot out of the fryer, the salsa made seemingly minutes before we ordered. The family that runs this is so nice and kind, warm and inviting. It is a small restaurant, if you are a large group, be prepared to sit outside and wait while you're food is prepared. But, it is worth every minute of waiting. The sauces, the poblanos, chicken dishes, everything was perfect, well seasoned, not spicy just balanced. Excellent and please, don't just stop at the Hooters or Sr. Frogs. Nothing against them, but 1.5 blocks away is a truly wonderful local restaurant that you will never find in the States.
Had the Margaritas on the rocks, guacamole with chips and we both had Pollo (chicken) mole enchiladas. The drinks, guac and mole were good. Mole not sweet enough IMO. The drinks were a decent size for $7 The guac also was just good. Very thick chips (not my favorite). We had the owners dog under our table-so cute!
