Bidra med feedbackI ordered a main course with a side dish, an extra side, and naan bread which cost me £20. I could have gotten the same meal for £14 at another local Indian restaurant. When I got home, the food was not very warm and the rice portion was not even full. The fries were also smaller than expected. I used to dine here every week, but now I will not be returning. The only positive aspect is the friendly staff.
I have been dining at this restaurant for about 20 years and have always enjoyed a good variety of starters and mains. I have had some wonderful meals and memorable evenings here in the past. However, my experience tonight was disappointing. Although the food was tasty, my mixed tandoori starter had very little meat and both my lamb rogan josh and my daughter's chicken korma were overly clove-flavored. I always thought korma was supposed to be mild and flavorful. When I mentioned my concerns to the waitress, she assured me that the chef has been the same for the past 20 years. Despite the less-than-stellar meal, we paid our bill without any issues and left a tip. It was unusual to see only one other party of three and three takeaway customers during our visit, as this is one of the most delicious Indian restaurants I have experienced in Northern Ireland. Sadly, I am unsure if I will return in the future.
I will never return to this restaurant. I ordered takeout and, to be honest, everything from the chutneys to the keema and mushroom rice was terrible. The rice tasted old, possibly 3 or 4 days old, and the meal was £8 more expensive than our usual restaurant in Armagh. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star.
Food was cooked good only problem I had was the staff are very unorganised as they told me they had no hi chair when I went to bathroom there was one in the hallway my 9 month child had to sit on my knee the whole way through my meal won't be back manners would also go a long way in this place
Food was absaloutly delicious! Best Indian food we have had in a long time. Young male waiter was very helpful. Went for a birthday dinner and pre booked table a few days in advance. The only let down was they had no prosecco, we then tired to order the cava only to be told from the manager that we have to let them know in advance when booking that we wanted prosecco. Now I strongly recommend you remove the prosecco from your menu because surly if we want have it on the night.... Without ordering in advance it really shouldn't be there. Felt this was only a cope out because they didn't have it.
