Thyme Bistro - Cramlington

We went for Steak night on a Friday night which is excellent value. Wines and especially the beers stocked are limited. Staff very friendly and helpful but some times it seems to lack atmosphere.

We had a lovely meal here. Don't let the position of the establishment put you off. The food choices were varied and different which waa refreshing. Everything was well cooked and some delicious sauces. Both the set meal and a la carte were good value. Service was good and we walked away at the end of the night talking about what lovely fare we had consumed. Would really recommend a visit.

We had a party of six on Saturday, February 26, and I can only say that everyone agreed the food was of excellent quality. While the menu isn't extensive, there are plenty of options to choose from. Each of us tried something different, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I would be surprised if there isn't something for everyone; if not, there's always the grill menu featuring some tempting steaks.

I heard some great things and really enjoyed my experience. Steak night seems promising. However, I didn't notice much of a drink selection during our quick visit for a bite to eat.
