El Charro - Crawfordsville

What a pleasant surprise was to find this great restaurant in crawfordsville, indiana! I grew up in miami, florida and there are Mexican restaurants everywhere. none of them was as good as el charro! the first impression from outside was its typical restaurant in a small city. when we came in, it was bam! very colorful and unique as I have never seen in a restaurant. the owners really went out of that and spared no cost on the ambiente. the best part is eating. the menu is extensive and includes almost all mexicans. we put ourselves on the el charro fajitas and the man they did not disappoint! it had chickens, steak and chorizo, along with a same amount of tweezers, red, yellow and green paprika. really delicious! the kicker was when they brought the red and yellow squeeze bottles. like you ketchup and sneak in. only they were filled with some spicy red (hotter) and a yellowish (hot and garlicky) sauces, amazing! crawfordsville is really happy to have this authentic, amazing restaurant in their city.

El charro customer service sucks! I went through mine when she cleared the bank and noticed on 3/15/22 I was overloaded for an article. I ordered and received the children arroz con pollo, but I was calculated for an adult size. her, my fiancée ordered the adult arroz con pollo, who came with bon and salat and tortillas, but mine was just the huh, rice and cheese. When I called the owner and said, he said he can't take my word for it and that it was 2 days later and it was too late. I have my friends. that was our first time eating here was good, but thought it was kind of expensive, that is why....I was over charged!

A delicious juwel with excellent food. the portions are almost as large as the menu. friendly staff and a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. in any case would recommend

Nice place and the food was good. Great service for being busy. You get your money's worth here.
