Mj's Cafe - Creede

If you find yourself in a small, remote mountain town with a population of just 400, or if you simply appreciate having a restaurant where you can get a good meal, then MJ's is the place to go. The food is always homemade to order and incredibly fresh—consistently delicious, no matter what you choose. I especially enjoy their breakfast, pork tenderloin sandwich, BLT, macaroni salad, and house-made chicken tenders, among other dishes. The service is typically provided by just one cook and one waitress, so be prepared for a more laid-back dining experience. If you expect quick and constant service regardless of the circumstances, then perhaps Creede isn't the right place for you.

We had a wonderful Saturday morning breakfast with our dog on the terrace. The waitress was welcoming and attentive, bringing us coffee, offering water for our pup, and quickly arranging a table for us as soon as one was free. I absolutely loved the French toast!

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. It’s a great place for wanderers!
