Great Wok - Crest Hill

We've been ordering food for display purposes for the past five years. Today, I placed an order for $30 worth of food. When I received my order, I requested hot sauce and was told it would cost $0.25. I offered to pay with my credit card, but they informed me it was cash only because my total was less than $10 and they could only process credit card transactions for amounts of $10 or more. I asked if I could have the hot sauce for free, but they declined. This will be the last time we order from this place.

We ordered food last night for New Year's Eve, and it was terrible. The crab rangoons were extremely dry and hard, the sesame chicken was dark and greasy, and the smoothies were awful—how can you even mess those up? I will never eat here again.

I’m new to the area and ordered from this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. The food was just okay—not as good as Weng Lee in Plainfield, but fine. I decided to give it another chance tonight. I placed my order and picked it up with my husband. Unfortunately, the woman behind the counter was incredibly rude. For some reason, her credit card machine wouldn’t read our card, and when I politely asked if she could manually enter the numbers, she huffed and acted like it was an enormous inconvenience. She then slammed our credit card down on the counter and asked for a signature. When I requested hot mustard, she tossed them into the bag, and two packets fell onto the floor. I picked them up without receiving any apology. I turned to her and said that I had been a potential customer, but after this experience, I would never return. They really need to work on their customer service skills.

Today I stopped for some sweet and sour chicken lunch special. It's my second time here the first time I had beef and broccoli and it was ok but the shrimp fried rice is mediocre. The shrimp has a weird taste like it frozen for a long time. This time I tried the sweet and sour chicken it ok just same thing with the rice but for 5.50 it not bad.

Good food! Great lunch specials! Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Highly recommended can't go wrong here
