Lucia's Craft Sandwich - Crockett

Food is always hot and fresh, and customer service is excellent.My brother and I cross the bridge just to eat here! We can not wait until this beautiful place expands. The owner is a real cool guy.Parking: Parking is okay.

Oh my gosh the sandwiches are HUGE. Initially the prices were on the dollar or two higher than most sandwich prices I 've encountered, but when you first feel the weight of bricks in the bag they hand you, you have your first inkling you just got yourself a bargain. Add artisan bread and quality meats, you roll away from the table feeling you 've just gotten the best deal in town. Lucia 's has been on my to try list for quite a while but the trip to Crockett never planned out until I went walking with a friend on a regional trail. Granted, I ate elsewhere that day (see Crockett Cocina, another great place), but the seed was planted to come back and so the next day I returned with the hubs and bought the Applewood ham and the NOLA. The ham was thin sliced which makes it delicate and melts in your mouth but the amount they add ensures you taste the ham in every bite. Neither of us could finish more than half in one sitting but, when heated in the toaster oven, it 's no worse for wear. I attribute the recovery to the great bread choice, which regains its delicious light crunch. Sandwiches here are very well done and thoughtfully constructed. Best sandwich I have had in a very long time. Had the spicy coppa (and yes it was spicy). One sandwich was big enough for both me and my husband.

Over the course of my life I have been to many sandwich spots, in the bay, east coast, chicago. I would put Lucia up against ANYONE. These monsters of beauty are a sight to behold. Expect tears of joy to stream down your eyes. The crew there is top notch and the moment you arrive you know you're in good hands. 10/10. highly recommend.

I ordered the NOLA sandwich. It was absolutely amazing ?. Enormous sandwich. You really get your money’s worth here. I had to cut each half into 2 pieces and made 4 meals out of the whole thing. Definitely will return whenever I’m back in town.
