Chicago Sam's - Cromwell

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, where I ordered fried pickles and nachos, both of which were fantastic. We ended up staying until around 9 PM, captivated by the live band, Miss Fortune, which I found surprising since I'm usually not a fan of live music. The service was excellent, the venue was spacious, and the crowd was enjoyable. I could have easily spent the entire night there, but we had to meet friends elsewhere.

In terms of sports bars within a 30-minute radius, this place definitely deserves a 5-star rating. The service is attentive and friendly, there's a TV for just about every sport, and the food is solid pub fare. The tap beer selection is decent. My only complaint is that they haven't brought back the tavern games (like pool or video games) since COVID.

The food is fantastic! The menu offers many unique dishes that you won't find elsewhere. Their Prime Rib on Mondays is exceptional. I would give it five stars, but the service was quite slow, even though the restaurant wasn't too crowded or too empty.

Waitress was attentive, food was pretty good, my salad was very fresh, but my friends pasta with shrimp was a little dry, trivia game was fun keeping us busy while the kitchen was a little safe. Great night.

The best sports bar in the area. Food was good, beer was very cold. Great spot if you looking to spend time with friends. Pool tables are great!
