Country Inn - Cromwell

I had a delicious old-fashioned burger, and the combo burger was equally enjoyable. The meals were served with chips and a pickle, which isn’t my preferred pairing, but the combo burger came with fries and coleslaw. Both burgers were fantastic. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. When we arrived, there was only one table free for us to place our order. The waitress spent time chatting with some customers at the counter and took about five minutes to drop the menus at our table. She never checked in to see how we were enjoying our meals or offered to refill our drinks. After we finished eating, we waited around ten minutes while she continued her conversations. We were nearly at the register when she finally brought us the bill and asked if everything was okay. In total, it took us an hour and ten minutes to get and enjoy two burgers. If the rest of the menu is as good as the burgers, it’s worth stopping in for food. However, the service was quite disappointing. Our total for two burgers, two Cokes, a bowl of chili, fries, coleslaw, chips, and tax came to $26.00. As for a tip? Not a chance.

The burgers at this place are truly amazing! I had the party melt and I would definitely come back just for that. Additionally, their homemade ranch is really tasty!
