El Gordito Market - Crookston

If I could give them more stars, I would earn them ABSOLUTELY! Visit the city for a bit and some friends recommended this place. There was nothing great in this area. But I stopped today for the first time and I'm SO GLAD. Not only was I treated to a wonderful spot, authentic meal, but the women, Julia, who heard this place, was so sweet and beautiful to speak. You'll see much more of me while I'm here.

Excellent, authentic Mexican cuisine. The service is very friendly and fast to sacrifice without quality. The reviews on the El Gordito market are all TRUE!!!! We were just searching for a place to eat and were certainly not disappointed in our corn tortillas and chicken / cheese enchilada plates. Next time we go through Crookston, we'll be sure to stop for a bite. Kim and Steve

My friend and I stopped in on a Saturday. We walked in and Julia the owner was sitting down having some lunch and there was no one in the restaurant. So we got her full attention she gave us both a hug because she new me and glad to see me. We ordered our food and my friend asked about the tamales so when she brought our food she also brought a tamale for us to try. We finished our meal it was real good. We also ordered a dozen and a half of tamales to go.Great place for real Mexican food! Thanks Julia!

This is a staple for Crookston imho. Great food and awesome service! If you're traveling around or across Minnesota in the upper Northwest and want some authentic Latino food stop in here. Pupusas are so is the rest of their menu. Please enjoy.

Y'all I love going to this place. It is so chill. The ladies who work here are good cooks and they are professional and courteous.
