Grazeland Bar & Grill - Crows Nest

Where to start... The mac and cheese was lovely but unfortunately that's where the positives ended. The Victorian Eye Fillet was on the old menu (before they became Grazeland) so we decided to get this again, but the quality of the steak wasn't great and it was also overcooked. Not good considering steak is meant to be their "star attraction". The onion rings had raw onion, which was another disappointment as ones Mumu had were amazing. Even worse was the service. There was only one waiter on the entire floor (including the bar) the whole time we were there, and when it started to get busier he could not handle it - understandably, but he was also extremely slow in general. We could see many other customers getting irate at the long wait for food and the overall lack of service. One table walked out after waiting forever to order. We even saw the waiter interrupt a customer (in the middle of ordering) so he could go to the door to turn a group away, despite the restaurant not even being half full. In the end some of the kitchen staff had to help out. I understand it could have just been a very bad night and they could not get more staff in, but I loved Mumu Grill and after this experience I don't think I'll be back.

Great food, good service. Steaks were perfectly cooked, as was the wild Barramundi. The dessert platter was delicious. We will be back. Big venue so great for large groups.

Steaks were unevenly cooked.. one half grey other half pink/red, and grissly & chewy, and have eaten better steaks cooked at home. We were expecting the same high standard as the previous establishment mumu. I guess you are only as good as the chef cooking the food on the night. We won't risk another dissapointing meal there.
