The Tall Lemongrass - Crows Nest

I have dined at this restaurant many times over the years, specifically for their lunch menu which started at $8, then increased to $9, and now is $10.

Have been a regular here since they opened (2011?).

There's a poster out the front of Tall Grass Thai that states in big bold letters, "Lunch Special: $8.50" I head inside.

The worst Thai restaurant I have ever been too!! Food was average and the staff there are so rude!! We walked in and saw they had a split bill sign. We asked the lady before sitting down if we can split the bill on this occasion, having been told we could we took a seat and ordered. When we went to pay the man at the register was screaming at us and was angry, asking us to pay the full amount and wouldn’t allow us to split bill. We explained that the waiter said we could but no he continued to scream at us. He asked the waiter who agreed that’s what she said but he didn’t not oblige by what she had agreed. He said the only way to split bill is if he pay before we sit down. We explained again that we were told we could take a seat and our orders will be taken separately so we could pay separately. Nope, Instead he screamed at us some more, snatched the money out of our hands and told us not to come back. Don’t waste your time or your money here; you will only be paying for average food and the worst customer service. If I could review without rating then this would be a 0.
