The Little Hot Grill

The enchiladas are the best I’ve had in Mexico. Seriously. We have been going here for years and it’s the first place our kids want to go when they arrive.

My wife and I were in La Cruz a week ago and visited this tiny place. It has excellent food and fast friendly service. Don't be put off by the outside looks, they are deceiving.

We had breakfast yesterday at The Hot Little Grill. The food was good, service good. The items on the comments on TA were not on the menu. It is indeed a little place. Our friends had omelets and they raved about how good they were. I had a Mexican dish that was good. The owner is the chef and took our orders and was quite pleasant.

We visit The Little Hot Grill every time we are in La Cruz. This time we stayed at La Joya and asked Marisol to be our personal chef. What a great decision on our part! Every afternoon we walked to this lovely little restaurant for a wonderful meal. Most days there was enough food to take back to eat later. Marisol never disappoints! Chicken enchiladas, marlin burritos, tortas cubana ~ and the best jamaica in Mexico. Thanks Marisol! You made our vacation extra special.
