Cody's Original Roadhouse- Crystal River

I am one of the regulars , go there once or twice a week. They make me feel like family. Good atmosphere: rustic, comfortable, and usually not loud ? No annoying music, either. Outdoor seating for Yankees or smokers. Excellent menu choices, even for vegetarians (I hear that they have THE best veggieburger anywhere! and a fantastic 24 oz. Porterhouse that I double-dog dare ya to finish in one sitting! Parking: Lots of room AND a spacious overflow lot. Many shaded spaces Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free 1 or 2 days a week (I forget....I don 't have kids at home Wheelchair accessibility: Looks good, ramp to sidewalk that I know of. Wheelchair-accessible ladies ' stall

First, let me tell you it smelled so bad when we walked in like dirty mop bucket water. Then the host sat us down. Multiple waitresses walked past us for about 10 min without even saying anything. One even walked to the next table over to grab her tip money and still no one acknowledged we were there. Then I thought I should look at the time. We were there 30 min before closing. It was then we realized why noone wanted to serve us cause they wanted to go home. We'll, needless to say, we would never go back.

Disgusting, should be permanently closed down. Recently shut down by health inspector after a roach crawled on him during inspection because their infestation is so bad. Food not properly stored and stored at the wrong temperature. Sewage coming up from floor drains. Black mold and pink slime all over the kitchen. Just look up their most recent inspection shut down, it's all there to see. Avoid this place unless you also want to visit one of our local hospitals.

Was there Saturday night my $27.00 steak was disgusting and my families meals were cold and tasteless. Manager took 10 bucks off a 100 dollar tab. Service was very slow. ONE And DONE!!
