Food was good, but the best of the place is the view to the Zócalo on the heart of Mexico City. Add live music and is a place to go.

The little red knife and fork on the TA map on my phone implied the entrance to Terazza, the restaurant we were looking for, was along the street that faces Zocalo, around the corner from where it actually is. When we saw no entrance we...asked a uniformed gent in front of an aluminum door if he could direct us. He repeated, Terazza? Right this way. He led us to an elevator and rode with us to the sixth floor and stepped out and motioned us to a hostess behind a podium at the door of an appealing looking restaurant. Later I had the sense our shill was likely paid to Shanghai us. We entered. The view was dynamite and the restaurant appointments were attractive. We ate and had an OK meal. About half way through I noted the name of the restaurant shown on the walls was not Terazza. After we left we went around the corner to where the entrance to Terazza is located through the lobby of the very upscale feeling Gran Hotel de Mexico or something. In general we 've found Mexicans to be extremely honorable and honest people. This hustle was really disappointing.

My friends and I ate here several times during our time in Mexico City. None of us were disappointed with any of our meals. The view of the church and Zocalo was fantastic. Try the cowboy pork chops. They were great.
