The location is great and the food is standard pub fare, but I had to give this place one star due to a serious mix-up with my order. I ordered the vegetarian mushroom stroganoff and ended up being served beef stroganoff instead. While mistakes happen, I specifically mentioned that I was ordering a vegetarian dish not once but twice. When I brought it to the waiter’s attention, he insisted it didn’t contain beef and was certain he was correct. When I pointed out the beef on my fork, he abruptly took the plate away without any apology. It took 15 minutes for my correct order to arrive, and still no apology from him. I mentioned that one should apologize when serving meat to a vegetarian, and he looked completely baffled. It seemed like there might have been a language barrier, as English didn't seem to be his first language.
