Bidra med feedbackWe went to try this restaurant on Saturday 30 April noon with the family we were 8 and we were not disappointed! beautiful setting, very good service, very nice team and excellent meals. I have to do as much as I can!
The food was terrible. Risotto was raw rice soup, veal over cooked (was supposed to be medium) and the vegetables over done with no taste, spaghetti bolognese was a mess. The main chef declined to come to talk to us and instead said we have to come to him. Then he pretended not knowing English but quickly changed tone when realizing that our son speaks fluent French. And still he denied that there was anything wrong with our food.
The best view directly on the beach ! The cuisine is very good but the service very poor (fresh waiters, no smile, no focus on client).
Booked this being a member of the Accor loyalty programme and wasn't disappointed with the location of the hotel, plus with the added bonus of onsite parking what more could you want? Stunning coastal views with an ever changing beach tides and beautiful sunsets. However, I was a little disappointed with the level of service on check-in. I asked if I could upgrade and was flatly told no even though when I went back and showed the reception staff that rooms were available via their app... It became a chore and they went to check with a manager. Eventually I was offered an upgrade but I decided not to bother and spend the money enjoying dinner with my family. We took a standard room for 2x adults and 2x children. It was a little tight but there was plenty of storage. There was no air con during our stay. Water was replaced daily in the mini fridge. This was completely different to the welcome we received at another novotel not that long ago. The hotel is ideally placed for the beach and has a nice sandy area above the beach where you can relax and chill out. There are stairs to the beach and you and your family will have a lovely time playing on the ever changing beach. We enjoyed amongst other things : cricket, rounders, kite flying and driving my son's radio controlled car whilst also building the obligatory sand castles. The restaurant in the hotel is good serving up a good selection of your favorites and the staff were quite attentive. We had lunch in the terrace and dinner in the restaurant and weren't disappointed. Breakfast was good with a good selection of hot and cold items. Lots of cheese, meats, breads, pain au chocolate and croissants so would suit most tastes. As with most hotels you can pick faults with the decor but the sheer number of people using the facilities means this is a constant task. Overall the hotel was clean and tidy and I saw a host of cleaners going about their daily business. Overall a very pleasant stay and I'd come back again in the future.
We reserve at 9 We get the menu at 9.30 and the desert at 10.30 with the restaurant almost empty! Not very expensive, food eatable but the service is very poor!
