Sabatino's Garden - Cuenca

Great tasting with large portions. Very friendly staff. Very recommended!!

We had a great dinner here. The portions are quite ridiculously large, but the food is good, regardless of it. I ordered the filet mignon as a dare for me because it was only $10. It was the biggest fillet I've ever seen and it was perfectly cooked. Our entire bill was $40, and that included four dinners, several beers and two soda. The cook and his assistant were very welcome and took care of us. I'm not sure how they earn money, but they make sure good food and make people happy.

What a beautiful restaurant with lots of greenery and with amazing food. Mauricio cooks everything to perfection and extremely fast, he is truly amazing. Since my dad took us to Sabatinos, I now crave pasta, which I have not done in years! The chicken Alfredo is bomb and the ribs are amazing too. I’m looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. For many years you have enjoyed Sabatinos. The best chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken I found in Cuenca!

We know most Gringos rave about this place. And you know what? They're right! The location is lovely right around the corner from Otorongo Plaza in a hidden garden. The food is absolutely delicious and the portion size is very generous. Bonus is the great blues/jazz music . We had a great meal and great conversation with other patrons. My husband and I highly recommend Sabatino's. You really should check it out!
