The Copper Fish - Culpeper

Party of six, fast sitting and served. I felt like an honored guest. All six meals were perfect: as ordered, delicious, generous portions. Clean table, dishes, linen napkin was lace notch. Wonderful experience, will be back!

Excellent place to eat. A lot of fresh homemade dishes. Seating was a little wonky, but it’s the pandemic. Everyone’s seating is a bit wonky. Everything is made from scratch and they work with fresh seafood and a few people in my party had the crab cakes and in their words “this is the best I have ever had. There are no fillers at all”! The desserts were phenomenal but I did take off one star for it because none were made in house, but a local lady (which I still liked)! Overall wonderful place to eat.

Wow! What an amazing experience! This was our first visit to Copper Fish, and both my wife and I loved everything we tried. The Crab Nachos alone made the trip worthwhile! The duck dishes were fantastic—my wife had the fillet while I enjoyed the crab cake. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were incredible. We also sampled a few drinks, all of which we would happily order again. We’ll definitely be back!

My friend and I have visited The Copper Fish several times, and they offer the best selection of seafood in the area, which keeps us coming back. They usually have around four options for shellfish, which is common along the East Coast. We've also enjoyed their lump crab cakes, oysters, and other crab dishes, all of which we love. Whether we sit at a table or at the bar, we’ve always received friendly and attentive service. They typically feature both food and drink specials as well.
