Bidra med feedbackFirst time was good, second time was bad. Good: Lunch special Mixed tempura Soup Salad One of the rolls I forgot the name of Bad: Piece of a chopstick in my salad Terrible spicy tuna Fishy salmon in the Philly roll Free melted mochi ice cream as an apology for the chopstick in my salad
The only issue I had is our waiter retracted the happy hour menu 15 min prior to the end after letting us read through it for 5 min. But great quality sashimi and very cute place to eat.
The fish was not super fresh and I felt like for the price of $25 for a lunch “special” it was not great value. The tuna especially smelled fishy, I was worried I’d get an upset stomach later but luckily I didn’t. The beef gyoza was good but fresh fish is the main draw for me at a sushi place and this was not it, especially at that price point.
They have a really great space with a nice front patio with ample seating. Inside is cute as well. Service seemed great at first, but then kind of disappeared which was disappointing. The food was fine. I had the chicken noodle dish because I can’t eat seafood and it was tasty. The edamame were under-salted and flavorless. The shishito peppers were good, but if you can’t eat seafood, make sure to specify that you don’t want the bonito on it.
This is a great local spot for delicious sushi. They have great happy hour and lunch specials with a great portion. We ate about 5 rolls; karrage; edamame and it was enough for 3 people. I wasn’t a fan of the albacore dish. Otherwise, everything else was great. I will absolutely be back here when in the area
