Modern Bistro - Cumberland

Dining here is always a delight! We've been coming for years and have never been disappointed. The daily specials are definitely worth a try. The staff is consistently friendly, respectful, and efficient. We often look forward to spotting some famous faces during our visits. If you're coming for breakfast, I highly recommend dining in!

We visit this restaurant every Sunday morning, and then I place our office dinner order for our monthly staff meeting. The homemade chips are absolutely amazing! My office manager is a big fan of the BLT, which is funny because her nickname is actually BLT—short for Boss Lady in Training. Mario usually orders the Frittata, which he loves, while I prefer the quiche, and my sister appreciates the gluten-free options they offer. A tip: if you order gluten-free toast, make sure to specify that you want it toasted twice, but not “twice roasted.” Otherwise, you might end up with two pieces of toast instead of just dark toast. LOL!

I discovered this charming hidden gem while I was in Cumberland for an exam, and I was very pleased with the food and drinks. The staff provided friendly and prompt service, which was a definite bonus. I would highly recommend it!

Very nice food and good staff. They have specials every weekend I think, which is highly recommnded. Plenty of parking available.
