Taco Mexico - Cumming

Everything has excess garlic in it. Salsas were horrible, the steak was terrible. Tacos are really really small. I have Mexican food 1x a week every week, and I'd rather have taco bell than this place.

We've been coming here for years, and the food is consistently delicious. The staff is also incredibly friendly.

I attempted to enjoy my meal in a taco shell, but it was tough and difficult to chew. Frustrated, I lost my appetite and couldn't finish my food. When I spoke to my server about the issues, she informed me that her manager wouldn’t be in until 6 PM and that she couldn’t adjust the price. I opted to wait until 6 PM, which clearly startled her. She rushed into the kitchen to call her manager. Five minutes later, an older woman with grey hair emerged, identifying herself as the manager. She informed me that the store owner wouldn't be coming in that day and insinuated that it was my fault for not eating my food right away, claiming that it would have been better had I not let it sit for twenty minutes. She continued by stating that the dish is a favorite among many customers. I had to interrupt her to defend myself as she condescended to me. When I finally got a chance to speak, I explained that I am both a server and a cook. I had chosen to dine here because of the glowing reviews for the molcajete a la mexicana, and this was my second time. I also added that I'm not in the habit of wasting food; the reason I couldn’t eat was due to my disappointment with the meal. In the end, the manager agreed to speak with the owner about reducing my bill from $18 to $12. My overall experience at this restaurant has been quite negative. They overcook their meats, speak down to their customers, and do not seem to acknowledge valid concerns. As I told the manager, they have lost two customers who won’t be returning anytime soon. My experience here has been nothing short of terrible.

Food was so delicious! My husband and I ordered the Quesabirria Tacos loved it!! We will definitely be going back!

Great food at very reasonable pricing. No frills dining area.
