Waffle House - Cumming

This restaurant has really declined! We used to love coming here but will never return. Understandably, COVID regulations are in place, but we have eaten here at least four times with others in the restaurant and were told upon entering "we only take orders after 8:00." Tonight was the final straw. We arrived at 7:35 planning to dine before 8:00, but were turned away at the door and told they were closing for maintenance, despite there still being someone eating inside. This is the worst experience we have had in the entire state of Georgia!

My party and I arrived at this restaurant and quickly decided on our order. We noticed that the staff was quite busy and patiently waited for someone to come to our table. However, a coworker seemed to overlook us and instead helped customers who arrived after us. Another coworker pointed out this mistake, but the first coworker dismissively said, "I'm not interested." We continued to wait, but the same coworker proceeded to take payments from other tables. Feeling ignored and frustrated, we eventually decided to leave. As we were leaving, the same coworker made a snide comment, "good, better for her."

The food was good, but the service was seriously lacking. Our server, Maggie, disappeared from our table three times, leaving our empty cups untouched and failing to check on us until we were ready to leave. The restaurant was also quite dirty, with sticky floors. With so many other options available, we won't be returning to this place.

One of the best service I had so far. also the restaurant is known for cheap food, the staff is very hard working and trying to satisfy any person.

It was nice, the place was a little dirty, but the staff was friendly and helpful.
