Merlion - Cupertino

The Singaporean food here is quite good, and there are also a few dishes from neighboring countries on the menu. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, featuring a somewhat sleek, upscale decor. However, the service was frustratingly slow, which was surprising considering there were only a handful of customers present at the time.

Many people may not realize that this place has an amazing bar. The drink prices during Happy Hour are fantastic, and the Happy Hour menu offers plenty of satisfying options. We enjoy going early when it's less crowded, and we love being able to watch the chef at the cooking station as they create their dishes. We've also held large gatherings here, and the staff has been incredibly accommodating, providing excellent pricing for events. I fully recommend this restaurant!

The food was absolutely delicious! The protein and produce were fresh, and the seasoning was fantastic, with just the right amount of spice and moderate fat. The portions were well-balanced and a good size. I will definitely be returning!

We tried the laksa and the chicken rice, and both dishes were outstanding. The laksa had a more authentic flavor than the chicken rice, but both were incredibly tasty. The chicken in the chicken rice was exceptionally juicy.
