Fang ’ Bistro 【cypress】 Chinese N Sushi

The garlic eggplant dish is a hidden gem. It's freshly prepared and so flavorful. We visit this restaurant about twice a month, and we would recommend it if someone is looking for quick, decent Asian food.Food: 4/5

Wanted to try because the reviews seem split on good/bad. Unfortunately, this gamble didn’t go in our favor. I ordered beef lo mein and it tasted like seafood?? Very bland, small portions, and just overall weird and not what you expect from a Chinese restaurant. Don’t waste your money here!Food: 1/5

Horrible. host was so rude, interrupted me several times and went “shh” with his finger. There was 3 other people in there and this man was running like yall need to hire more people. Super rude we literally had to walk out before we even ordered. asked for water gave me 95% ice and 3 sips of water. never coming again, didnt even get to try the food because service was that bad

First off I've known these people for a long time and pick up orders from this place a lot. They are so kind they are really nice! And on top of that their fried rice and sushi is absolutely appotizinggggg.

Update 3/2023: so you see it here all the time, but has moved a little bit farther from the restaurant so we don't get it as much. We did decide to get it yesterday, and we do occasionally grab food from there as well. In the last year or so I've noticed that they have significantly cut their portion size while maintaining or upping their prices. In my son's sesame chicken combo plate I can literally open the box and could count the amount of chicken chunks, which was about 8. And it wasn't even the normal big round chunky ones. I got the chicken with broccoli, and there was very little chicken in there as well as very little broccoli. All the portions in the combo plates were small. I'm not sure if they were running out of food because it's the last day of the week, or they're just continually skipping portions while continually collecting the same amount of money. Very disappointing.__________________________________________Have eaten here three times, and each time it was great. The people are friendly and the food is good. My spouse loves the ? chicken. I love the sushi and my kids love the rice and chicken. The owner is kind and his son as well. There new female waitress is a bit hard of hearing, but she was okay too. It's hard to see coming from 290 on Barker if you don't know it's there, though. Comparable pricing, and clean restaurant.
