Koala Kolache - Cypress

A real hidden gem! While kolache and donut shops seem to pop up on every corner with similar menus and donut holes, this place stands out from the crowd. Their kolache combinations have something for everyone and are always fresh! I’ll definitely keep making the 20-minute drive on weekends just to enjoy this treat. A perfect 10/10 for a delightful breakfast!

The food here is absolutely fantastic! From the kolaches to the cakes, cinnamon rolls, and cookies, you really have to try it all! Vatsana has a wonderfully kind spirit and infuses love into everything she makes.

The kolaches are fantastic! I tried the leek and egg white as well as the black bean enchilada, both fresh out of the oven. I really appreciated having some options that are less focused on meat and include plenty of vegetables.

I had a very special experience. My first time trying the kolaches, and might I say, the best I have ever had (and I've had my fair share of kolaches). The boudin kolache in particular had the perfect texture and that kick that made it extra special. The owner was incredibly nice and I could tell that she is really passionate and customer-oriented. I'll definitely be returning!
