Bidra med feedbackWe ordered 2 bowls of pho, 2 fresh spring rolls, and various mock meats from the buffet. Our meal, including a small water, cost 120K for 2 people. The pho was flavorful but lacked star anise. It came with mushroom and tofu mock meats, and we rated it 4 out of 5. The spring rolls had fake bacon and plenty of mint leaves, but the wrapper was chewy, earning them a 3 out of 5. We enjoyed some of the mock meats but weren't impressed with others. The buffet was cold, but the service from the young English-speaking lady was friendly. It's worth noting that the restaurant serves eggs and milk, so be sure to ask before ordering.
The pho soup and fresh spring rolls were delicious. We were pleasantly surprised to also receive a unique cake. Be aware that if you arrive late, some dishes may be unavailable. Complimentary green tea is available on each table.
We were impressed by the wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options available at this restaurant, especially the large vegan buffet. The dishes were delicious and we also tried the vegan pho, which was the best we've ever had. The buffet cost 30-45,000 Dong and we enjoyed our meal in a clean establishment with friendly staff. The restaurant has additional seating in the back for busy times, and they also sell vegan ramen packs. Despite the presence of egg on the menu, we were able to easily avoid it. We wanted to try more dishes but were too full after enjoying the buffet and pho.
I’m really sad to write this as I the girl serving us was so nice and helpful that I wanted everything to be perfect. The restaurant on the outside states everywhere vegetarian, happy cow currently states vegan as of 2020, we asked the waitress and she said it was vegan. However, there is fried egg on the menu. We ignored that thinking that it was maybe vegan egg and just order safe in case. My husbands meal of fried noodles veg contained egg, we think within one of the mock meats (maybe the beef one? . We know this as he has a severe egg allergy and had an instant allergic reaction. We should have asked, but we thought as it’s vegan it wouldn’t be an issue… It’s hard to discuss this with them, we’ve had it so many times before where people are adamant there’s no egg, but it’s a sneaky ingredient they’ve missed, or they’ve cooked on the same pan as a fried egg. It’s hard to explain with language barriers. So we didn’t, we just said he was Ill from something else, but they didn’t charge us for that dish as he’d only had one bite. Which was unexpected and very sweet. The food here is good, if only it were all 100% vegan. The mock meat skewers we had that were fine were: ‘Chicken’ lemongrass this was very good!! A flat square one I also had the pho, which was good, but also had the beef mock meat which may have been the egg culprit Updated from previous review on 2022 11 30
We arrived at closing time and the owner told us the place is closed, sorry . We said to him 'please, we are hungry and all other vegan restaurants are closed ' so he opened only for us and said he has some rice left, and he gave us a very nice meal of rice and tofu. He was very nice to us!
