Top of The World is our top favorite place to visit in Hemel Hempstead. The atmosphere is friendly, and the meals and drinks are affordable. The pub mainly focuses on British cuisine, which is not very common in traditional British Pubs nowadays. The decor is not overly modern, which is nice to see. I was reassured to see nighttime bouncers now being employed here after having some minor issues on a previous visit with my partner. Over the years, there have been changes in management and staff, but the service has remained consistently good and professional. Accessibility is decent with wheelchair-friendly entrances and a disabled toilet. The meals are a decent size, though my partner, who has a big appetite, found the portion a bit too small. The gravy was a bit watery. The waiting time for meals varies depending on how busy the pub is. The staff are helpful in accommodating dietary requirements. The atmosphere is pleasant with quiet areas for those seeking a peaceful meal. The menu may vary from the app and online platforms. Online booking is available with set times allocated. For special occasions with a large group, pre-orders are required. It would be helpful if the loyalty stamp system was automatic. It's important to drink responsibly and not disturb others when leaving the premises. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I hope more people visit to support local businesses and pubs.

I was somewhat disappointed by this restaurant. The decor seemed a bit tired, and the food was just okay. However, the staff were very pleasant and I have no complaints there. I might consider giving this place another try in the future.

Visited on Friday and the service was second to none staff had some very rude customers to deal with and was very professional and polite we ordered from the festive menu and the food was lovely and came out in a timely manner

Lovely, friendly pub, Alicia, Kelsey and Donna are so welcoming, food is amazing, and such great value for money, plenty of choice on the menu, which has been recently updated. Highly recommended
