Jr's Roadkill Bbq Ribs - Dahlonega

The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I've been here several times, and it's a great spot to enjoy a beer and listen to some music on Saturday nights.

We decided to stop by JR's place when we noticed it. Upon arrival, we had the pleasure of meeting JR, the owner, who is truly a charming country gentleman and an excellent host. We ordered a cheeseburger accompanied by sweet potatoes and onion rings, and I must say, it was one of the best cheeseburgers we've had in quite a while. The decor has a rustic farmhouse vibe, which adds to the overall ambiance. JR also mentioned that he has an original whiskey display, though it's currently not in use. We highly recommend stopping by for delicious food and an enjoyable experience!

Delicious BBQ! Everything was outstanding. It's a cozy hidden gem, and the staff is incredibly friendly.

This was such a pleasant surprise, some of the best bbq we have ever eaten. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area!

Quaint rustic atmosphere. Staff oozing Southern hospitality. Pricing very reasonable. Homemade hand cut French fries. Haven't had fries like that since I was a kid. My mom made them the same way. Had the pulled pork and it was lean and tender. It's quickly becoming our favorite spot to eat when in the area.
