Spoon Shine Cafe - Dahlonega

This is no joke: it's my favorite spot in town! I moved here about six months ago, and this was one of the first restaurants I visited. I've explored many places since then, but I keep coming back. The owner, April, is incredibly friendly and always great to talk to. I always feel so welcome at Spoon Shine. Their smoothies are delicious, and my absolute favorite is the baked potato bar—it's so tasty! Plus, you can get all the toppings you want for just $5! My whole family loves eating here; they enjoy the sandwiches and salads as well. We’ve never tried anything we didn’t like. This will always be one of my top places for lunch. Thanks, April!

The owner was incredibly kind and assisted us in discovering vegan options. She told us about the potato bar we hadn't tried yet, which offers non-dairy butter and various vegan toppings, including vegan bacon bits. We definitely plan to return and try it before our vacation ends. They also have two vegan sorbet flavors (orange and watermelon) and numerous vegan smoothie combinations made with either almond or coconut milk. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

I absolutely love this place! I was instantly intrigued when I saw their eye-catching sign advertising a baked potato bar inside. I had never encountered such an idea before, and since I adore potatoes, I had to try it. The food was delicious! It’s set up similarly to a Subway, where you can customize your bowls. They also offer frozen yogurt and smoothies, which is a nice bonus. I appreciated that the complete menu, along with prices, is displayed outside on a large poster. The staff here are consistently friendly; there's always a wonderful woman working there. Plus, they offer discounts for UNG students! I've visited several times already and can’t wait to come back!

GREAT place for lunch! You have not only yogurt, but great lunch with a middle eastern swirl. You have my favorite who is a Greek chicken salad and gyro! They also offer you free loose leaf fresh brewed tea with your entree that is fantastic. Very reasonable prices. Look at this place!

This place is amazing! I come here at least twice a week for lunch. Everything you would want is here: pizza, chicken strips, hot wings, hamburgers, baked potatoes and so much more! The food is always tasty and hot, and the Chai tea here is absolutely delicious. Of course, the fro-yo is scrumptious, especially with the 20+ toppings you can put on top of it. This is by far my favorite place to go to eat! :
